Join us for the Arcadia Valley Summer Picnic on June 18th from 10am-4pm!
RVRA in conjunction with Battle of Pilot Knob and Arcadia Valley Chamber of Commerce is co-hosting the first annual Arcadia Valley Community Picnic to be held on June 18th at Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site. The theme is An Arcadia Moment. This event is a way for the community to come together and kick off the summer with games, food, kid’s activities, and a horseshoe and bean toss tournament for the adults and kids. Also, the historic site will partner with the area art guild to host the Arcadia Valley chalk art competition. This year’s theme is “Fairies”. Visitors can enjoy several fun fantasy activities, including arts, crafts, dressing up for pictures and putting on a play (Midsummer Night’s Dream) by Arcadia Valley Theater Guild. All proceeds will go toward supporting the annual fireworks display, which the Chamber of Commerce holds on the historic site grounds every Fourth of July.
